Designing your wedding album can be a fun experience. A successful wedding album design consists of several key elements.
Use the following tips to create your story book album.
1. First you will need a copyright release from your wedding photographer. This is necessary for the company that
prints and binds your design.
2. The hardest part of designing an album is selecting the photos. The more photos taken by your photographer the
more difficult the task. Try selecting photos that will tell the story of your day. Select 20-40 photos from each
part of your celebration.
3. Next you will need to organize the photos into folders.
4. Search online for free album design software. Or if you own Photoshop this is better option.
5. When designing try using two to four photos per page. Place your organized photos into each page spread. Re-size
each photo as necessary. Create a focal point with your favorite photos. Make this photo larger than the rest.
6. Once you have your design completed you will need to find a company to print and bind your album. Their are dozens
of companies that provide this service. An album printer can be found by doing an online search. Mac users can
complete their album through Apple. They have a dedicated album product you can order through itunes.
